Galatasaray remained their perfect start of the season with the fifth win in a row after a 1-0 away win at minors Kasimpasa. Umit Karan scored the only goal in the match in the 73rd minute to maintain a two-point advantage ahead of Besiktas, while reigning champions Fenerbahce suffered a setback following midweek win against Inter in Champions League with a 1-1 draw at Bursaspor. Fenerbahce went behind 10 minutes into the second half when Herve Tum scored, but just seven minutes later Semih Senturk equalised to save the Istanbul side's blushes.
