Slaven Bilic is currently one of the most respected young coaches in Europe. He is widely viewed as a passionate, tactically-astute, motivational manager, and it is only natural he should be linked to vacant positions - even more so with a club he used to play: West Ham United.
"It is true – I get calls from England all the time, just like before," Setanta Sports quote him as saying. "But I can't say anything about West Ham United."
"Now that the game with England is getting closer, they will write more about me coming there." He says, hinting at a ploy to unsettle both Croatian players, and fans.
The 39-year old adds: "I signed a new contract to coach Croatia and that's all I can say."
"I will continue my job as national team coach until end of World Cup 2010," he concluded.
