Los Colchoneros have been busy trying to trim their squad down ahead of the new campaign but they have been having difficulty trying to rid of two players in particular.
One of them is Portuguese midfielder Maniche and the other is Seitaridis. The capital-based club have so far received no absolutely interests whatsoever from potential buyers so far but now it appears that there might be an approach for the Greek rightback.
Marca believes that Benfica and Galatasaray are rumoured to have made an enquiry about the 27 year old in the last few days, although no official approach or offer has yet to be made.
Benfica recently lost rightback Nelson to Real Betis and it is a possibility that coach, Quique Sánchez Flores may be looking at Seitaridis as a direct replacement.
